WHAT WERE SOME OF THE KEY FINDINGS?
The study shows significant improvement of both the Performance Improvement Leaders award winners and the medians for all other hospitals. While the Performance Improvement Leaders award winners improved much faster across all metrics, the winning hospitals showed increased survival rates, better patient safety, shorter lengths of stay, increased profits, and improved liquidity.
